Fyodor Urnov is a "genome editor" -- he works on genetically engineering human cells to understand and treat disease. Fyodor is an associate adjunct professor in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, where he teaches genetics and biochemistry, and is a team leader and senior scientist at Sangamo BioSciences.
