Our cast of authors Inez Fung, professor of earth and planetary science, and environmental science, policy and management Inez Fung, an atmospheric scientist, is a professor with joint appointments in the Department of Earth and Planetary Science and the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management. She is also co-director of the Berkeley Institute of the Environment, which seeks to leverage the collective resources at UC Berkeley to foster and scale up innovative solutions to some of the planet's most pressing environmental challenges. Fung was among the thousands of scientists worldwide who contributed to the climate work that earned the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change a Nobel Peace Prize, shared with Al Gore, in 2007. She studies the interactions between climate change and biogeochemical cycles, and focus on the processes that maintain and alter the composition of the atmosphere, and hence the climate. - More at
