Lorena Ojeda

Lorena Ojeda--davila is a visiting scholar in the Department of History at UC Berkeley and a professor of history at Mexico's Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. Her work at Berkeley is supported by the Fulbright García-Robles and CONACYT grants. Ojeda's published work includes the article "Communities Up in Arms," on the emergence of armed self-defense groups in the state of Michoacán, in the Berkeley Review of Latin American Studies.
