Catherine Cronquist Browning
Assistant Dean of Academic Programs and of Equity and Inclusion at the School of Information
Catherine Cronquist Browning is the Assistant Dean of Academic Programs and of Equity and Inclusion at the School of Information. She received her Ph.D. in English in 2013 from UC Berkeley and taught as a lecturer in the English Department from 2013-2015. Since 2015 she has worked at the School of Information in a variety of roles in curriculum planning, student affairs, and academic programs. Catherine is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment at the I School and in the tech industry more broadly, and works to advance the School's mission of connecting people with technology by supporting faculty, students, and researchers who interrogate the social and systemic effects of technological development.
