David Romps

David Romps is a professor of earth and planetary science at UC Berkeley, director of the Berkeley Atmospheric Sciences Center and a faculty scientist at Berkeley Lab. He studies atmospheric dynamics, in particular water convection and turbulence, to better understand the interactions of clouds with Earth's climate.
