Elizabeth Bailey

adjunct professor, Haas School of Business

Elizabeth Bailey is an adjunct professor in the Haas Economic Analysis and Policy Group at the Haas School of Business. She served as executive director of the Energy Institute at Haas from 2012 to 2013. Before joining the Energy Institute, she was a vice president at NERA Economic Consulting, where she specialized in the economics of antitrust. Bailey has prepared testimony in court proceedings and presented her research before the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. From 2006 to 2009, Bailey was on the faculty of Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, where she taught courses in managerial economics, competitive strategy and environmental sustainability, decision analysis, and statistics. In 2007, she received the Outstanding Graduate Teaching award from the school’s MBA students. She holds a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
