Jennifer King

Ph.D candidate in information science at UC Berkeley’s School of Information

King studies information privacy and policy through empirical research based in human-computer interaction. Her dissertation work focused on how people make decisions to disclose their personal information to companies. For the 2016-17 academic year, she was a co-director of UC Berkeley’s Center for Technology, Society & Policy, a student-led policy center at the I School. As of April 2018 she will be the director of privacy at the Stanford Center for Internet and Society.
