John Temple

John Temple is the director of the Investigative Reporting Program at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. He is a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper editor and journalism innovator. Temple has served as managing editor of the Washington Post; editor, president and publisher of the Rocky Mountain News; president, audience and products, of First Look Media; and was the founding editor of Honolulu Civil Beat. He is also the chairman of Amuse Labs, a software company that provides the platform for digital crosswords for the Washington Post, The New Yorker and other publications.
