Kendra Levine is a specialist in transportation information, data and research. In her role as research librarian for the UC Berkeley Institute of Transportation Studies, she assists with research related to all major modes of transportation, focusing on new technologies and systems innovations that promote sustainable transportation. Levine's expertise in the field's online and print resources is supplemented by an in-depth familiarity with transportation classification and terminology. She's gained that knowledge by indexing books, technical reports, conference proceedings and scholarly journal articles for TRID, the largest online bibliographic database of transportation research. Levine writes a blog on the ITS website. She is actively involved in the transportation research community through participation in the Transportation Research Board. Levine earned her M.S. in library science and information systems at Drexel University and her B.A. in history and German at UC Berkeley.
