Michael Polson is an anthropologist and postdoctoral fellow in environmental science, policy and management. He studies the transition of marijuana from an illegal to medical and recreational commodity and is affiliated with the Berkeley Cannabis Research Center. He earned his Ph.D. in anthropology from City University of New York.
